Data Deletion Instructions — Brandy and Co Media Social App

The Brandy and Co Media Social App allows authorised business users to connect Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts and Meta Business assets for social media publishing, scheduling, reporting and analytics.

If you want to request deletion of personal information associated with the Brandy and Co Media Social App, you may do so in one of the following ways.

1. Remove the app from Meta

You can remove the app from your Facebook account or Meta Business settings:

1. Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy.
2. Open Settings.
3. Open Apps and Websites.
4. Find the Brandy and Co Media Social App.
5. Remove the app and choose the option to request deletion of your data, where available.

When Meta sends us a data deletion request, we will process the request and return a confirmation code and status URL.

You can also request deletion by emailing:

Please include, where possible:

• your full name;
• your contact email address;
• the Facebook Page, Instagram account, Meta Business account or workspace concerned;
• the nature of your relationship to the account, page or business; and
• a clear request for deletion of data connected to the Brandy and Co Media Social App.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before processing the request.

What we delete

Subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements, we will delete or de-identify personal information received from Meta and associated with the relevant authorised user, page, business account or workspace.

This may include:

• Meta app-scoped user IDs;
• page/account connection records;
• access tokens and integration credentials;
• stored social media publishing or scheduling records connected to the request;
• reporting or analytics records connected to the request; and
• technical records that are no longer required.

Some information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security, dispute resolution, audit or operational reasons.

Processing time

We will respond within a reasonable period after receiving and verifying the request, in line with POPIA and applicable law.
